As is known, information technologies are developing at an unprecedented pace and trends in this field changes every day. Objects are becoming more connected to each other with the concept of IoT. The IoT, refers to the billions of physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, collecting and sharing data. Therefore, this data’s security is crucial for people, companies and countries.
In recent years, with the development of information and communication technologies cyber security technologies have become one of the most critical priorities of the countries. Since Cyber security is at the core of many technologies developed in defense and civilian areas, in some points cyber- attacks could irreparably damage countries defense systems. Therefore, Cyber security is the most fundamental issue for ensuring the security and sustainability of investments in the civil and defense sector. In addition, cyber power, which has started to play an important role in international politics, is an area where countries make serious investments.
In order to increase awareness in Turkey and the region in terms of cyber security and to closely follow the developments, The Fourth International Conference on Cyber War and Security will be held in Ankara under the auspices of the Defense Industry Presidency. The previous conference was held with more than 600 participants, including industry representatives, military delegations, public officials, academic community, industry representatives and national and international cyber experts. In the previous event, panel-oriented panels and conferences were held with participants from different countries. In addition, cyber war and security issues have been discussed from a civil, defense and academic point of view.
We believe that a strong international cooperation is needed to combat cyber warfare that threatens all countries. The topic of the fourth conference which will be held in this year in November is going to be “Being an international player with National Cyber Security solutions.” We believe that the conference this year will provide an unrivaled opportunity to explore the challenges and solutions emerging in the civil and defense areas with the contributions of experts and academics from the sector. It is with great pleasure that I am inviting all who are interested in cyber security technologies and want to contribute to the ecosystem.
Would be glad to host the participants of 4th Cyber Warfare & Security Conference on November 20-21, 2019. In order to provide the special room rates for conference attendees , please contact with CONGRESIUM ANKARA.
Ankara historically known with the names Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey and the country's second largest city, Istanbul being the largest. Centrally located in Anatolia, Ankara is an important commercial and industrial city. It is the center of the Turkish Government, and houses all foreign embassies. It is an important crossroads of trade, strategically located at the centre of Turkey's highway and railway networks, and serves as the marketing centre for the surrounding ...agricultural area. The city was famous for its long-haired Angora goat and its prized wool (mohair), a unique breed of cat (Angora cat), Angora rabbits and their prized wool (Angora wool), pears, honey, and the region's muscat grapes.
Although situated in one of the driest places of Turkey and surrounded mostly by steppe vegetation except for the forested areas on the southern periphery, Ankara can be considered a green city in terms of green areas per inhabitant, which is 72 m2 per head.
Ankara is a very old city with various Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman archaeological sites. The hill which overlooks the city is crowned by the ruins of the old castle, which adds to the picturesqueness of the view, but only a few historic structures surrounding the old citadel have survived to the present day. There are, however, many well-preserved remains of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine architecture, the most remarkable being the Temple of Augustus and Rome (20 BC) which is also known as the Monumentum Ancyranum.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, as of 2012 the city of Ankara had a population of 4,338,620 and its metropolitan municipality 4,965,542.SEE ALL
